Despite not having any kind of marketing budget or ad-campaign for the albums release it has gone on to become Astronautalis's most successful release so far, which he has partially credited to his existing fan base and their use of social networking sites and word of mouth to spread the news on his behalf.[2]
Due to the success of the album it charted at #41 on the Billboard Hip-Hop Chart and #43 on the Billboard Heatseekers Charts.[2][3] This is the first time any of his albums have made it on to the Billboard listings.
Elsewhere the album debuted at #03 on the CMJ Hip Hop Charts, #09 on the American iTunes Hip Hop Charts and at #12 on Amazon.com Hip Hop Charts.[2]
A video for Contrails (feat.Tegan Quin of Tegan & Sara), the next single to be released from the album, was recently posted online by Astronautalis.[4] It has subsequently been picked-up for broadcast on MTV.[5]
